Description
Cloisters Residential Resort Community, located in Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands is a 180,000 sq ft property, positioned on a 6.5 acre, 1200 feet beach frontage site. Concept and design was driven by the client. With and a steep elevation rising from the beach up to the road this led to a very interesting design solution, which was driven by the developers and designed by Brian Macdonald, when he was Managing Director with OBM. Each building has an internal courtyard creating the perfect opportunity for a three level tranquil cloister. The natural elevation and topography of the site lend themselves well to terracing, which offers both increased privacy and spectacular views.
